What do you love about surfing?

I love surfing because it makes me feel present. No phones stealing my focus, all my attention is on the sea. Surfing becomes a form of meditation while I hang out with friends, enjoy nature, get exercise, and endorphins. I also love surfing for all the friendships it gives me.

What’s always in your beach bag?

I always bring water, sunscreen, a towel, an extra bikini, a hat or cap, and often some snacks for long days at the beach.

How does period-proof swimwear change beach days for you?

They help me feel comfortable at the beach and in the sea where there aren’t always bathrooms nearby. I can relax and don’t have to worry about leaks.
