Are Female Engineering's panties treated with anything?

When we produce our panties, we use an anti-bacterial and odour-preventing treatment in the absorbent gusset, called Agion Active XL (antimicrobial substance silver copper zeolite). The treatment is one of the best currently available. Our period panties are certified by OEKO-TEX®, which means that the products have been evaluated for the content of substances harmful to health.

Why do we use this treatment?

We do this to prevent bacterial growth that leads to the panties starting to smell, which is the biggest concern we have identified in our customer surveys regarding period-proof panties.

Antimicrobial substances are strictly regulated in EU law and the treatment Agion Active XL has been approved for use in textile products.
